Jamal decided to help me out...by falling asleep so I could knit in PEACE!
xBack w/Jamal

This was progress as of Day 2 of Ribbon xBack.
I like it.
Knitting it puts me in this weird trance-like state.
Using Denise 11's, Katia Ola. Nice.

Next we have the Double-Branching-Out-Brilliance of earlier post.
Branching Out

..and again with His Sleepiness.

I'm brilliant!

You know how sometimes you do something and you think "I know I'm not the first to think of this..." but you feel like you're absolutely ingenious for thinking of it anyway? I had one of those moments...actually AM HAVING one of those moments as I type.

Imagine, if you will, knitting along on Branching Out (which I'm making 2 of for mother-of-the-bride and mother-of-the-groom in my sister's wedding) when suddenly it comes to you: ::LIGHT BULB!:: make them at the same time!

See, told you I am brilliant...pictures to come. Also coming: picture of cotton ribbing using nonaKnits' ribbing trick per her request (it's only a short section of ribbing but it looks so NEAT now!).

Today I'm at work...

Can't tell you how happy it is to be able to say that I am working! Especially since my Unemployment Insurance is running out in 2 weeks. Gotta love the great state of Oregon and their crappy employment opportunities...

Two new projects on the needles. Well, one almost on the needles and one on the needles, frogged twice and on the needles for the 3rd time. I'm getting much better at not giving up because I have to frog--look at me growing up as a knitter!

New projects?!
Yes, new.
No, I haven't finished all the others.
No, I haven't even finished 1/10th of the others.
Leave me alone.
:P

So, new projects:
--Isis Wrap from Interweave Knits--lovely and am using recycled yarn from a sweater Christina gave me, so NO YARN COST!
--Branching Out x 2 from knitty.com with Silky Wool(if I ever get it wound into a silly ball...)
Maybe I should join Wendy's Summer of Lace, since I'm starting 2 lace projects?
Hmm...

She posts carefully, wondering if she'll break the blog again...

MY YARN IS HERE! I can start my ribbon Xback...soon. And I'm going to share my yarn. My friend Julie and I are BOTH starting the fab-u-lous xback. FUN!
Right now I have to run out the door to an appointment. Grrr. I really want to cast on! Did I mention that my yarn is here? :O)
