Representatives from the following countries...

...will be in my apartment tomorrow night.

Well, maybe. Sort of. We're attempting to host an Olympic Opening Ceremonies party and as people come in they will be given a flag for the country they will represent. Because the Olympics are much more fun when people are rooting for multiple countries! And besides, painting the flags was fun.

Anyone care to try to name as many of the countries as you can without looking them up??! :o)

Go Team World!

Fun paintings! All I can do without cheating are Japan and Germany. Maybe the light blue is Denmark... Oh, and maybe the British Virgin Islands?

Thanks Lolly. It really was fun. I like painting--but I don't need another crafty hobby right now...what I need is to clean up my house so that people can actually get through the door tonight!

Yay Chris for getting 2 right! No BVI, no Denmark...alas. I'm so excited that you guessed though...!

I'm guessing...top left Germany, top right Cyprus, second row no clue. Third row Argentina, ?, and Mexico. Bottom is Japan, and no more guesses for me.

The one with the brit flag in top corner and four red spots is New Zealand. The other one with the brit flag and the white spots is Australia. The C* one is Azerbaijan.

That's all I know besides Japan and Germany.

No, I'm a graphic designer, and I know my symbols. I speak symbolcraft fairly well. Occasionally that means collecting ridiculous knowledge, like what the Arby's logo looked like in 1978. Other times it's actually useful, or we've done a piece on missionaries. So there! :)
